Mike and Emily

Today’s photos are somewhat of a bitter sweet story. Sometime last week Emily emailed me asking about creating some fine art images at her wedding. I was excited, but unfortunately for them I had already booked another wedding that day. Emily said she would look into moving her date and we went ahead and planned to get together and do some engagement photos. Yesterday she sent me an email saying that she ran into some complications and wouldn’t be able to change the date. She was going to cancel our session. I already had the evening blocked off and was looking forward to it, so I told her I would go ahead and do the engagement photos for free even though I probably wouldn’t be able to do the wedding.

I am glad I offered because Mike and Emily are a really nice couple. We had a lot of fun wandering around the neighborhood near my studio, and got some images which I think we will both enjoy for a long time to come!
